The data shows that in 2017, the shipment of TVs above 60 inches increased significantly, and the trend of large-screen display in the home display market became more and more obvious. With the improvement of living standards, more and more people are pursuing the immersive experience brought by the big screen.

The basis of laser television is projection technology, except that the light source used is changed from a light bulb to a laser light. Everyone knows that lasers have the advantages of stable light emitting performance and long service life. In this way, it is a good solution to the traditional projector brightness, color cast and other issues. In addition, the emergence of ultra-short-focus technology is even more close to zero projection distance, therefore, laser television technology can fully meet the needs of users.

In the large screen area of 70 inches or more, laser television has a great advantage. The first is the cost. The cost of LCD TVs will increase rapidly with the increase in size. The price of 100-inch LCD TVs will be as high as several hundred thousand yuan. This price is not affordable for ordinary home users.

In contrast, the price of entry-level laser TVs has now fallen below ten thousand yuan (excluding light curtains), so in the big-screen market, laser televisions have a cost advantage over traditional LCD TVs.

In addition, after the LCD TV reaches 100 miles, it is very inconvenient to install or handle, and it may even be difficult to enter the living room from the ordinary door. Before the news reported that because 100-inch LCD TV is too large, users can only helplessly. Choose to lift it from the window by lifting it. Since laser televisions do not have physical screens, they do not have to worry about these issues.

There are some problems with laser televisions. The first is the brightness. Entry-level laser televisions cannot be watched at noon even when they are equipped with anti-light curtains.

Secondly, the color performance of monochromatic lasers is also slightly defective, in which the red and green parts are generated by the color wheel, so the color performance has yet to be improved. However, the current cost of two-color laser is too high, and the price of 7,800,000 is still unacceptable to most users. Future brightness and color are the direction in which laser televisions need to improve.
